Loved Books was born in January 2026 from something simple but meaningful: our family’s shared love of reading. Books have always been a part of our home—stacked on nightstands, tucked into backpacks, and carried along on every adventure. Our children, now 5 and 8, have grown up surrounded by stories and characters, and one of our favorite family activities has always been visiting local thrift stores in search of hidden treasures.

Over time, we realized that these two passions—reading together and hunting for great finds—could become something more. That idea grew into Loved Books, a small family-run shop dedicated to giving gently used books a second life. We carefully select lightly used books that deserve a new home and share them with readers who appreciate quality, affordability, and sustainable choices.

What started as a fun, family project has become a joyful way for us to connect with our community, teach our children about reusing and repurposing, and spread the love of reading one book at a time.
